        The Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society is proud to announce the 2010 PCGS Student Guitar
Competition for students in PA, NJ and DE and featuring prizes including the $1000 Peter Segal Prize and an invitation to perform for PCGS in 2010-11 for the first place winner of the collegiate division. 


    The competition, with separate high school and collegiate
divisions,  will be held in three rounds: 

    1. A preliminary round with a tape or CD submission,  application and
          entry fee ($40- College,  $25- High School) due by February 27, 2010.

    2. A live semifinal round on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at
        First Unitarian Church,  2125 Chestnut St,  Philadelphia, PA

    3. A live final round during the 2010 Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society Annual Festival on
        Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Settlement Music School, 416 Queen St, Philadelphia, PA.

    Collegiate Division                                                   High School Division
    Open to students currently enrolled in and                                 Open to high school students (grades 9-12)
