Donate

PCGS is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit cultural organization. All donations are tax deductible. Donors are recognized during our programming. Donors at the Peter Segal’s Circle level or above are also invited to special PCGS events from time to time. PCGS cumulative annual donation levels are:

  • President’s Circle ($2,500+)
  • Segovia’s Circle ($1,000 – $2,499)
  • Peter Segal’s Circle ($500 – $999)
  • Sponsors ($250 – $499)
  • Supporters ($100 – $249)
  • Friends ($50 – $99)

Donations can be allocated to PCGS’ General Operations Annual Fund or the BILL VIOLA MEMORIAL FUND  (or both). Click on the boxes below to learn more about the funds and make your donation.

Here are many ways you can support PCGS:

1. Cash donation (Tax deductible) to either the General Fund or the Bill Viola Fund – see below.

2. Donate publicly traded securities (like stocks, bonds, etc.) to PCGS. This too is a form of tax deductible donation. Contact PCGS Treasurer at treasurer@phillyguitar.com if you’d like to explore this donation option.

3. Donate a classical guitar to PCGS. We will have it appraised and you can deduct the appraised value of the guitar from your tax return. Please contact PCGS’ Treasurer at if you’d like treasurer@phillyguitar.com to explore this option

Finally, you can support PCGS by buying one of PCGS fine instruments donated by other donors and currently in consignment at the Classical Guitar Store. These purchases are not tax deductible. Here are the two PCGS guitar currently available at the store:

1. A beautiful Kenneth Hill “Legacy” 2022 – True Temperament – classical guitar: click here for details
2. A great Dieter Hopf 1980 (Germany) – “Virtuoso” model – classical guitar: click here for details
