The Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society is excited to welcome the newly elected board members to our Board of Directors. They are Mike Acker, Lenny Ranallo, and Craig Bach, as well as congratulating David Baskin on his reelection to the board. As many of you know, David is a founding member of PCGS and it is important to have his unique historical perspective of our society, which is now over 55 years in the making.
In addition, there were elections for officers, and we are delighted to announce that Eric Zillmer is the newly elected President of PCGS. Eric has been on our Board for over six years, most recently as Vice President. The executive committee of PCGS now includes, Chris Hanlon, Vice President, Fabrizio Franco, Treasurer, and George Attisano, Secretary. John Williams will remain our Artistic Director.
PCGS wants to thank outgoing President Kevin Cope for his service and stewardship of our society, especially during the challenging years of the pandemic. Kevin did a great job during his tenure on advancing our musical programs and our online presence while providing steady leadership of our organization. We also want to thank Ross Mann for serving as Secretary during the past three years.
For any non-profit organization it is essential to have a solid board of directors to not only have representation of our current membership, but also to embolden fresh and innovative ideas to move our society forward.
Thanks to all the members who participated in the PCGS annual election of the Board of Directors in 2023!
